JerseyConnect is announcing some changes to our email hosting service.
Increased Mailbox Size
As of today all mailboxes now have 5Gb of space. Just as we’ve done in the past, we will continue to take requests for additional space on a case by case basis.
New Deleted Items Policy
In an effort to help users maintain their mailboxes we’re implementing a new policy. Starting on Wednesday July 5th 2017, deleted messages in your Deleted Items folder that are older than 30 days will be automatically removed. Please continue to use your Inbox and folders for long term mail storage. If an automatically purged message from Deleted Items is still needed, our support staff can easily restore that from our 3 months of daily system backups. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for any assistance with restoring email messages.
Reminder About Email Archiving
Finally we’d like to remind everyone that as part of our email hosting service we offer unlimited email archiving for your domain. The archiving is enabled upon request and will help you comply with your data retention rules. For more details about email archiving please see our website.
