Managed WiFi Service Update

JerseyConnect is excited to announce a new managed WiFi service to help libraries comply with wireless reporting requirements.

JerseyConnect will provide this service to any library using any internet service provider. Participating libraries will only be responsible for purchasing the WiFi access points and licenses.

E-Rate Update

E-Rate Central and the New Jersey State Library will be hosting a webinar on January 13, 2015, covering new opportunities for funding and changes to established services. We encourage all libraries to participate regardless of your interest in the managed WiFi service.

We are also excited to announce that we are working with E-Rate Central to help libraries take advantage of the managed WiFi service by obtaining E-Rate subsidies to reduce the cost of the hardware and licenses. JerseyConnect will be filing a statewide 470 for this service on behalf of public libraries to streamline the E-Rate filing process.
